MARRICKVILLE ONLINE
CUSTOMER FULFIL
MENT CENTRE

Woolworths is planning a new online customer fulfilment centre 74 Edinburgh Rd, Marrickville, to service growing demand for home delivery of groceries in the inner west and inner-city suburbs. This project will support up to 660 ongoing jobs and a further 360 jobs throughout the construction phase.

In 2020, Woolworths lodged a State Significant Development Application (SSDA) for the project to the NSW Department of Planning & Environment (DPE).

Throughout the application process, Woolworths engaged with the local community to provide information on the project, outline the benefits, impacts and mitigation measures and collect feedback. The Engagement Outcomes Report can be found here.

The application was approved by DPE on 16 June 2022.

Here you'll find the documents that support the approval including:

  • All technical reports and assessments that formed part of the SSDA

  • Approved strategies, plans, programs and drawings
